Jensen Quality Homes would like to thank all those who went through this years 36 entries in the Homes Today Parade of Homes sponsored by the Rutherford County Home Builders Association, Pinnacle and Miller & Loughry. This year we had two homes entered and are blessed that you chose our Christopher plan as "People's Choice, Best in Show".
The Christopher was both designed and built by Jensen Quality Homes.

BEST IN SHOW
The Christopher floorplan has 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a 3 car
garage, study, and a great room. The large master bedroom is located
on the first floor on one side of the house, and there is another large
bedroom on the other with convenient access to a full bath, making it great
for in-laws, company, or a large nursery. With 4,160 square feet all the
rooms are spacious. Two of the three upstairs bedrooms share a Jack &
Jill bath with a laundry chute giving direct access to the first floor
laundry. The third upstairs bedroom with its own private bath could serve
as a home office or guest bedroom. Like most of our homes, it's the little
things, the attention to detail, that sets a Jensen Quality Homes home apart
from others. Many of our guests commented on the air returns for the HVAC system,
not usually a focal point, but an example of our subtle combining of details.
Custom designed and built, this little amenity harkens back to the days
when air returns were detailed cast iron works of art. We also tried
not go over-board with our trim work, but to combine the right amount of
elegance, form, and function. Our craftman are capable and can build just
about anything, but sometimes more is not more. With custom trim headers
and columns framing the entrance to the dining room from the foyer,
and graceful arches defining the kitchen and great room spaces many
visitors remarked that we achieved just the right balance, not gaudy, but elegant.
The large kitchen is fully open to the great room, allowing
for interaction when entertaining guests. The 'blue-eye' granite
counter tops caught everyone's attention during the parade. This top
end granite was one of the things we did to make the home extra special.
The light blue ceilings played off the iridescent peacock blue in the counters.
Everyone who saw it was impressed. Some thought that our blue pendant lights
were creating the blue in the counters, but this incredible color was
God made in the stone.
