Don't need more living space? Have bedrooms on the second floor that are only used by the dust bunnies? Then perhaps you are among the many who are ready to move up to Single Level Living. Why have stairs leading to rooms that need to be heated in the winter and cooled in the summer? Space that was once needed, but now is just, well, taking up space.
In 2010 a full 50% of the custom homes we built for our customers were Single Level Living and we see this trend continuing with the clients we are currently working with. With the housing market starting to rebound, people have looked at existing inventory and weren't able to find what they were looking for. This is the perfect opportunity to custom build.
As a Custom Builder, Jensen Quality Homes works intimately with each customer to design the home that is just right for them. Since we spend a lot of time with each customer, we are aware of the trends and needs in the market place. As we Baby Boomers become Empty Nesters, we no longer need a lot of extra bed rooms, and we definitely don't need a lot of stairs. But we do want a quality home with the amenities that we've worked hard for over the years.
As with all Jensen Quality Homes, we strive to give the highest level of quality at the best price, giving our customers maximum value. Our design team works hard to ensure that your floor plan compliments your life style. Informal or formal entertaining, traffic flow, storage space, and amenities are all specifically custom designed. Jensen Quality Homes is a true Custom Home Builder.
Our 2008 Rutherford County Home Builders Parade of Homes entry, pictured above, was a single level home with 2840 square feet of living space and 600 sq. ft. of convenient walk up attic storage area over the garage. With high end appliances, granite and sunken tub in the master suite, this house is elegant without being pretentious. Two wood burning fireplaces with gas starters and stone pillars in the dining area provide a warm family atmosphere.
This Single Level Living home features an oversized 4 car garage, an In-Law Suite, Nana Wall and large walk-in shower in the Master bath. With 3,425 square feet of heated living space, Single Level Living doesn't mean small.
The unique Nana Wall allows the rear wall of the Great Room to completely
open to the rear screened in porch. The Nana Wall can be automated to open and close at the push of a button.
A number of customers have requested "walk-in/barrier free" master showers, and with our unique "trough-drain" we can completely eliminate the normal curb found in most tile showers. This beautiful design was done without a shower door.
This attractive home is a single level home with bonus. The home features 3,107 heated sq. ft. and 4,521 total sq. ft. The homeowners wanted a place for the grandkids to be able to 'call their own' when they came to visit and the huge bonus room over the garage fit the bill. This three bedroom home has a two and a half car garage, screened patio, and a single car breeze way with attached storage area.
With a formal dining area for guests, and an informal breakfast area for day to day meals, this home was designed to meet the specific needs of the owners.
The home to the right is also a custom built Single Level home with bonus. The home has 3,118 total square feet of which 2,397 is heated living area. Featuring three bedrooms and two baths, it provided both a screened in porch and an exterior deck area for great outdoor living. A formal dining room as well as breakfast area and a large kitchen provides plenty of entertaining options.
